I, Jack Hudson, began operating under ‘HUD CAD’ as a solo venture into the world of freelance computer aided design. With nearly ten years of experience directly working in the Engineering industry it seemed the appropriate stepping stone to seek out more varied and challenging opportunities across a broader range of industry.

My passion for computer aided design developed from a young age while studying at Samuel Whitbread College of Engineering. Gaining the opportunity to freely learn a number of CAD packages, while studying at the school, and applying them in my own time to projects and designs that interested me in my own life. Then graduating from the University of Hertfordshire with a degree in Motorsport Engineering where I was able to train and learn under industry leading designers and engineers grasping an even more in depth and proficient understanding of a customer’s potential needs and how to efficiently reach solutions.

The years of study and experience in the industry means I have developed a high skill set across a number of different CAD packages and software creating a foundation for being able to produce accurate, efficient and innovative designs.
